Pesto from the Green Part of Carrots!
A good example for a waste-free kitchen!
INGREDIENTS
Green part of a large bunch of carrots or kale
3 cloves of garlic
1/2 cup of parmesan cheese
1/2 tea glass of walnuts or pecans
Salt
1/2 cup of olive oil (to be added last)
PREPARED
Add all the ingredients to the blender and blend it!
Olive oil will be added last!
It can be kept in a glass and airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 weeks!!
